Snapchat and Instagram are two leading visual content sharing platforms. Collectively these two platforms attract over 600 million daily users. These two platforms are a great way to reach a broad audience base for brands that are looking for five ways to market their content, product, services, or art. If you have a new or upcoming brand or have a new product coming in the coming days, you need a great promotion platform. If you are looking for cost-effective forms of marketing that offer a very wide reach, these video platforms are your ideal tools. Since both Snapchat and Instagram offer many similar features, utilities, and other vital components, it can be very difficult to choose between these two equally practical and valuable social media platforms. Another advantage of both platforms is that they are compatible with most of the tools and services that significant Third-party social media growth and management platforms offer. With the help of these tools, a brand may gain Instagram followers, which can help them get popular on Instagram and Snapchat.

  • 4. Third-party tool support

1. Audience reach

Audience reach

The number of users that are active on Instagram and use it daily is far more than Snapchat. So when it comes to the number of users, Instagram has over 500 million daily users compared to 188 million active daily users of Snapchat. Thus, Instagram has over three times more daily users than Snapchat. Apart from numbers, the diversity of users that are available on Instagram is far more superior to Snapchat. While Snapchat caters to mostly young people, Instagram has a very diverse user base with people belonging to various age groups, countries, and interests. Thus, Instagram will offer you more opportunities to interact and target your ideal user base and create potential customers between the two platforms. Therefore you must make all efforts to buy active instagram likes for marketing profile.

2. Advertisements

Advertisements are crucial for any brand or creator, or artist looking for ways to promote and market their products. With a massive surge of creators, artists, brands, and businesses on these platforms, the platforms offer new and unique ways to help businesses and creators advertise and market their products, content, services, and brands. The Instagram ad was a result of one such initiative. There was a 28% increase in the use of Instagram ads in just six months of its introduction. Instagram ads have thus turned out to be an excellent investment from the point of view of various brands. About 30-40 % of users on Instagram have used the ad feature so far. The cause could be the fact that these ads are cheaper than ads on Snapchat. With a significant difference in the average cost-per-click, Instagram is more preferred over Snapchat. Additionally, Instagram offers free and more advanced analytics to understand and measure ad performance. Moreover, the analytics tools of Snapchat aren’t free for users. So as far as brand marketing is concerned, Instagram has the edge over Snapchat in terms of advertisements and analytics tools.

3. Discoverability

Discoverability

If you are on social media, you want to be discoverable by users. If users cannot reach out to you and see for themselves what your brand or content is all about, you cannot expect your marketing efforts on social media to offer any returns. As compared to Snapchat, Instagram offers much better discoverability as it allows the use of hashtags, geotags, and the ability to showcase your comet through posts, stories, highlights, reels, and videos. This feature is not available on Snapchat. In addition, your public profile is your key to success, but with Snapchat, your profile is not effectively public enough to create trust and interest amongst users. Moreover, the amount of available information on your Instagram handle is way more than you can offer on Snapchat. Therefore you must make all efforts to gain Instagram followers and get popular on Instagram.

4. Third-party tool support

When there are such stiff competition amongst brands, creators, and businesses to make it big using the power of social media, no user must leave any stone unturned. A great way to enhance your presence on social media is by using services and tools offered by third-party social media growth and management platforms. These tools are great ways to gain popularity, reach, and followers on these platforms. Although all major third-party tools cater to both these platforms, Instagram has more diverse tools and services as compared to Snapchat.

Even though Instagram has the edge over Snapchat in most of the key aspects for brand promotion and marketing, it must be understood that Snapchat is not far behind. The platforms are continuously evolving to offer better and improved features to their users and make their experience even better. So no matter which platform you choose, use it to its full potential.
