Do you love Manga and are looking for the super fun yugioh decks of all time? then you have landed in the right place. Yugioh, a really famous anime/manga in Japan, has spawned a hugely popular real-life card game that has millions of fans all over the world. And, if you ask any of the ardent fans of the game, you will notice that each one of them has their own favorite decks and preferred monsters. Here’s a brief overview of the top 10 yu gi oh decks of all time.

10 Best Yugioh Decks of All time

1. Elemental HERO

Manga Deck

Given the price at which they come, the Elemental HERO is crazy fun to play with. They are able to easily bring out huge boards. They also have a lot of potential for recursion and they are really consistent. They have one major flaw, though. They lack negation and protection. Regardless of that, the Hero is a great deck for the players.

If you can power it up for a higher price, you can even formulate a great strategy for the tournaments. These are special cards that make the player exceptionally powerful. It is simply satisfying to pull out a card like the wing man. It will leave you with some pretty unforgettable moments in the game.

2. Crystal Beast

Crystal deck

Though long past the days of glory, the Crystal Beasts have been popular ever since they were introduced in the Yu-Gi-Oh!GX anime. It was mainly popular because of Crystal Abundance, the ace card. The players agree that these are great to play with and difficult to go against.

This is a factor that remains constant though the slowness is a serious drawback of this deck. There have been a couple of latest support cards that have brought back the archetypes to life. In the days to come, the players can hope to see the reign of the Crystal Beasts once again.

3. Kuriboh

To be honest, using these decks is not even remotely practical. However, the brown ball has been around for such a long time, and it is still fun to play with. Having a deck that is based on Kuriboh and its multiple alternative forms is really fun.

You have the option to come up with some really great combinations too because all you get are level one monsters. Besides, the monsters are either all dark or all light. Add a couple of twilight based cards in the middle, and take your game to the next level.

4. Warrior

The warrior decks without the archetypes are super fun because then you get to watch the remarkable warriors take on the largest monsters and destroy them. Now, when you include the archetypes, it goes on to a whole new competitive level (here’s a nod to the Noble Knights).

But, it is a different kind of fun when you get to choose your warriors and equip spells. You will not get to have an all-powerful monster, but each of the warriors are powerful with the equip cards. You get warriors of all attributes in this versatile and diverse deck, but the focus is mainly on light, dark, and earth.

5. Normal Monster

The Normal Monster is also called the vanilla deck or the normalcy deck, and it is the one that uses cards which benefit the monsters. When the effect monsters were rare, the popularity of the normal decks has been at their highest.

The normal monsters all have archetypes of their own, and the support cards help in providing them with an additional effect over the actual effect monsters. The support cards can actually help the monsters to impose a heavy damage by swarming the field. The attacking power of the normal monsters renders most of the effect monsters defeated. It is always fun to play when you have a group of normal monsters in a deck.

6. Umi – Tornado Wall – Water

UMI-fun-yugioh-deck

This is one deck that promises a lot of power and a fun gameplay to the owner, but to the opponent this is quite the nightmare! These are like the best cards of Mako Tsunami, after all. The fabulous Ocean ends up reducing the levels of all water monsters by one. Thus, all the level five monsters end up becoming level four.

So, the player gets to employ loads of different combinations and strategies, which increases his chances of winning. These monsters swarm really well so getting plenty of them out on the field is not an issue. Moreover, the tornado wall protects the life points.

7. Reverse Burn

Reverse-burn

Want to leave your opponent completely red in the face with anger? Use the reverse burn, and you can make that happen quicker than you can think! Reverse burn is the simple strategy of going for the cards that reverse all the life points gained by the player into life points taken from the player.

The three main cards of this deck are the Gift card, the bad reaction to Simochi, and the Nurse Reficule. Your best bet would be to use the cards with a Gift Card. Putting a major damage on the opponent without even attacking him: what can be more fun than that?

8. Volcanic

Volcano-deck

Here’s one for the aesthetics and themes, because the volcanic cards contain some archetypes that look the coolest in the game. The deck is pretty great with all the burn options, swarming potential, major monsters, and cheese (with the Ultimate Baseball Kid or Raging Flame Sprite). The biggest problem with this one is that it is super slow. So, if you want to go for it, make sure that the pace is kept low.

The archetypes of the deck use ammunition and cannons which destroy the monsters of the opponent, including his life points through effect damage. Most of the cards got released during the Force of the Breaker, with only a couple being later additions.

9. Dinosaur

Before the Structure Deck was released, the dinosaurs were largely unknown. But, if you have ever played with this, you will admit that it is a pretty cool experience. There are a number of boss monsters and multiple beaters that you can get on the field.

The Survival instincts are where the main gameplay lies because it lets you drive away the dinosaurs from the graveyard and you get life points for every dinosaur that is banished. To top it off, there is the Tyranno Infinity that lets you get a thousand ATK for every monster. The combo is not just strong, but also enjoyable if you are able to pull it off.

10. Character Deck

Last but not the least in importance: this one is made just for you. Stop to think: who are your favorite characters in the entire series? What are your favorite decks? Once you reach a decision (seriously, there’s a lot to choose from!), build a deck according to that and go into battle with someone who has also done the same.

Both the decks have to be from the same series as, for instance, the deck of Yugi will definitely be destroyed by the deck of Yusei. The sheer nostalgia of getting all your favorite cards together and leading them on the battlefield is what makes it so worth it.
