Surge S1 is official: Xiaomi’s first home-brewed System-On-Chip

Xiaomi has finally achieved one of the rarest feats by announcing its first ever in-house System-On-a-Chip called Surge S1. After Samsung, Apple, and Huawei, the Xiaomi is a fourth smartphone maker, who designs their own SoCs and it’s the second Chinese smartphone maker to do this.
