Thomson (owned by Frances Technicolor SA) is making its India re-entrance in the television arena and is doing it in grand style. Following a few teasers, Thomson introduced today its range of Android-powered Smart LED TVs which available in 32-inch, 40-inch, and 43-inch variants.
Except for the difference in their screen size and resolutions, all three models share the same specs and features for the most part. The Thomson Smart LED TVs sport a sleek design, the 32″ model has HD resolution, while the 40″ and 43″ featuring FHD and UHD resolutions respectively, with a 60Hz refresh rate and a 178-degree wide-viewing angle. The Smart TVs are powered by ARM Cortex-A53 64-bit processor with Mali-450MP3 GPU, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage.
Needless to say, Thomson’s Smart LED TVs are packed with built-in Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n (2.4GHz) feature, which allows you to access your favourite apps and media content. It is also pre-loaded with Gmail, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, Netflix and you can download more apps using Aptoide store. Other key features included, 3 x HDMI ports, 2 x USB 2.0 ports, 1 x Ethernet port and 2 x 10W speakers.
Thomson has priced the 32-inch, 40-inch, and 43-inch models at INR 13,499, INR 19,999, and INR 27,999, respectively. Coming to the availability, the TVs will be available exclusively on Flipkart via flash sales method.
