The rumoured Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 and Note 5 Pro have been leaked, along with press renders and specs details. The information arrived via Twitter user @luckyankit yesterday, and it seems to be accurate.

According to the leaked information, the Redmi Note 5 Pro is set to come with a 5.99″ FHD+ panel in 18:9 aspect ratio, Snapdragon 636 chipset, and 4000mAh battery. Xioami’s Redmi Note 5 Pro also appears to sport a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor alongside the dual camera setup. The Redmi Note 5 Pro is allegedly having a 12MP and 5MP sensor combo, while the selfie shooter comes in at 20MP with selfie-light.

Other rumoured specs include a 3GB/4GB/6GB of RAM, 32GB/64GB internal storage, and a Hybrid Dual SIM slot. There’s also support for 3.5mm audio jack and micro USB 2.0.

Meanwhile, the Redmi Note 5 is also said to be rocking a 5.99″ 18:9 display with FHD+ resolution and 4000mAh battery, but it appears to be powered by Snapdragon 625 Chipset under the hood.

Unlike the Pro model, this seems to include only a single rear-facing camera, coming in at 12MP sensor. Moreover, it only has 5MP selfie snapper at up front. Other details include 3GB/4GB of RAM with 32GB/64GB of storage, Hybrid dual-SIM support and the inclusion of a headphone jack.

Both the handsets are expected to launch running MIUI 9 based on Android Nougat rather than Oreo. We also got a look at three colour variants of both the devices: Gold, Rose Gold, and Blue.

The other major new product is expected to be launched in tomorrow’s event is the Mi TV series. Little else is known about the Mi TVs at this moment, but Flipkart listing is suggesting Mi TV 4A series will see the light of the day tomorrow.

Xiaomi has seemingly confirmed that it is bringing the Mi TV series to the Indian market on Valentine’s day noon, February 14th. The launch will be streamed live on YouTube over at the official Mi India channel. Pricing and availability are likely to be revealed during the event.
