A month ago, OPPO took the wraps off its new F5 smartphone for Philippines market. Now the company has come up with another variant in the form of OPPO F5 Youth Edition. Unlike the F5, the Youth Edition arriving with some downgrades in the memory and camera departments.
The OPPO F5 Youth Edition has a 6-inch FullView display at FHD+ (2160 x 1080 pixels) resolution with 18:9 aspect ratio, and is said to have Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It’s powered by a MediaTek Helio P23 chipset paired with 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage space, but you do have the option of expanding it for an additional 256GB via a microSD card.
On the rear, you’ve got a 13MP camera with f/2.2 apertures, and dual-tone LED flash. The front camera comes in at a 16MP sensor, and it’s not only packed with OPPO’s A.I. Beauty Recognition tech but also offers bokeh effect for your selfies. However, similar to F5, you’ll find a 3200mAh battery inside with VOOC Flash charging support, and rear-mounted fingerprint sensor onboard. Furthermore, it’s running with OPPO’s ColorOS 3.2 based on Android 7.1 Nougat.
