The Honor 9i, which was announced last month in India, is now available in Graphite Black colour. The Honor 9i is company’s first handset to pack dual cameras on the front as well as rear and sport a FullView display with 18:9 aspect ratio.
Just to refresh your memory, Huawei’s latest smartphone comes with a 5.9-inch FHD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio and is powered by the latest Octa-core Kirin 659 chipset. The device has 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage (expandable up to 128GB), and packs a 3340 mAh battery. It also features premium metal unibody design that is flanked by a fingerprint sensor.
It’s equipped with a dual-camera setup on the back featuring 16MP and 2MP sensors, and a 13MP and 2MP selfie snappers on the front. The device runs Android 7.0 Nougat with Huawei’s EMUI 5.1 user interface on top but will be upgraded to Android Oreo soon.
You can get the phablet from Flipkart or Honor Online Store for INR 17999. It comes in two colour options: Prestige Gold and Graphite Black. Honor is also bringing its Aurora Blue Honor 9i model to the India shortly. The Honor 9i competes directly with the Vivo V7+, which is also a Fullview display smartphone featuring a 5.99-inch HD+ display and impressive design. Launched in India a couple of months ago, the V7+ is also now available in new Energetic Blue colour variant.
In addition, the Huawei’s sub-brand running a limited time Honor Gala sale on its online store and few products are available under discount on Flipkart and Amazon as well. Moreover, the Honor Gala sale is also available at offline retail stores across India.
However, if you’re looking for the latest and greatest Honor smartphone, you might want to wait for the Honor 7X to make its way to the India. The latest reports suggest the phablet is coming to India in December at ‘Unbeatable Price’, although there’s no word on when that might happen. Speaking of the specs, the Honor 7X boasts almost all the same specs as Honor 9i, but it will be available both online and offline stores.
