Xiaomi has launched Mi Noise Cancelling USB Type-C Earphones along with Mi MIX 2 in India. It has a frequency response of 20 – 40000Hz, 113dB sensitivity, iron acoustic architecture and comes with an Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) technology that reduces environmental noise as well as draws power from the phone through USB-C port. Also of note is that ANC works only on selected models. However, the company also included micro-electromechanical noise reduction microphone module to accurately blocks the external noise.
The Mi Noise Cancelling Earphones has a metallic body and is made out of Thermoplastic elastomers (TPE) material which is non-toxic material, environmentally friendly, and it has a flat braided cable. The braided wire prevents the earphones to get tangled during the workout. The Earphones have a built-in microphone and in-line controls with the integrated decoder chip to achieve accurate digital decoding and transmission.
The Mi Noise Cancelling USB Type-C Earphones has been priced at INR 2999 (about $45) in India and will be exclusively available on Mi.com later this month. According to the company, the headphones are compatible with Xiaomi phones like Mi 5, Mi 5S, Mi 5S Plus, Mi 6, Mi Note 2, Mi Note 3, Mi MIX and Mi MIX 2.
