Samsung has finally launched its flagship phablet Galaxy Note 8 in India. Since it’s a premium end smartphone, you cannot expect it to get at an affordable price. The 64GB variant is priced at INR 67900, but there’s no word on 128GB and 256GB models pricing yet. Meanwhile, Note 8 pre-orders have kicked off in the country. Those who pre-order the device, they are expected to get their device sometime next week, while the actual sale date is set for September 21st. To remind you, Galaxy Note 8 unveiled at an event in New York last month, and it is the company’s first smartphone featuring a dual-camera setup onboard.

In addition, the Note 8 has the biggest screen ever on a Note device with 6.3″ Quad HD+ (2960x1440p, 522ppi) Super AMOLED Infinity display that boasts 18.5:9 (2.06:1) aspect ratio and it’s also HDR 10 compliant. Inside of the Galaxy Note 8, it is powered by Exynos 8895 octa-core processor, 6GB of RAM, 64GB/128GB/256GB of built-in storage along with microSD slot for adding more storage and a 3300mAh battery.

One of the highlight features of the Note 8 is its dual rear camera setup. There’s a primary Dual pixel 12MP wide-angle lens, as well as secondary 12MP telephoto lens and the whole setup includes OIS, 2x optical zoom and up to 10x digital zoom. Meanwhile, the front shooter is an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens with autofocus. As for the availability, the interested buyers can pre-order their device on Amazon.in and Samsung India online shop. The launch offers include up to 448GB additional Jio 4G data (Over eight months, with Jio Prime membership complimentary). HDFC Credit Card holders will get a cashback of INR 4000, and the early buds will get a one-time screen replacement and also a wireless charger for free. Samsung has also introduced an upgrade program, which allows you to switch your older Note series device with the Note 8.

Apart from Note 8, Samsung also announced that Bixby would be available for India on the Note 8. The Samsung’s own personal digital assistant will be rolling out in India for Galaxy Note 8, Galaxy S8 as well as S8 Plus starting from September 30.
