Lenovo backed Motorola today made the Moto X4 official at IFA 2017, it’s the company’s new mid-range handset with IP68 water and dust resistance certification. After ripping off the Moto ‘X’ series a couple of years ago, now the company seems to be working hard on the Moto ‘X4’ to gain similar attention. Moto X4 is definitely an attractive handset as it sports 3D rear contoured design, an anodized aluminium frame and Gorilla Glass protection on the front and back. Moto X4 is also equipped with Moto Key, which allows you to access your password protected websites on your phone or laptop with a simple touch of your finger.
At the front, the Moto X4 features a 5.2-inch IPS display with the resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. Under the hood, the device is powered by Octa-Core Snapdragon 630 processor clocked at 2.2GHz, 3GB RAM, 32GB storage and 3000mAh battery with Turbo Charging. Coming to the software, the Moto X4 runs Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box. Motorola also integrated Amazon Alexa digital personal assistant in Moto X4, so that you can access your grocery lists, learn some tricky lyrics, or experience other Alexa benefits while on the go. Powered by Tempow, the Moto X4’s new wireless sound system software allows you to share the sound by connecting up to four Bluetooth audio devices at the same time.
The rear of the Moto X4 features a dual 12MP and 8MP cameras. The primary camera is Dual Autofocus Pixel sensor paired with f/2.0 aperture, dual-tone LED flash and PDAF. The secondary camera comes with ultra-wide angle sensor that covers a 120-degree field of view, and it sits behind the reasonably bright f/2.2 aperture. The front of the Moto X4 sports a 16MP selfie snapper with a f/2.0 aperture, and guess what, Selfie flash is back again. Here’s the complete specs breakdown of Moto X4.
