Samsung is yet to announce its next-generation flagship devices, which are rumored to be called Galaxy S8 and S8+. Today, a new leak reiterates all the leaked specifications. The guys at BGR managed to get hands-on images of unannounced Galaxy S8. Check, full details below.
Firstly, leaked images are one of the finest hands-on images to date. Secondly, these images reiterate all the specifications, which we learned from previous rumors. The front of the device has 5.8-inch Super AMOLED display, which has been stretched a far closer to all the sides. Just like LG G6, the display caught our attention right on the first glance.
The source claims that the device in the images is Exynos 9 8895 powered S8, which is forcing us to believe that this is not an AT&T S8 even though there are AT&T apps loaded on the device. We know that the US region is going to get Snapdragon 835 powered units. The leaked device might be there purely for testing, which has been loaded with AT&T apps for some reason.
Moving on to other details, there is 4GB RAM and 64GB storage with microSDXC support, which will support microSD cards up to 2TB. It has 12MP Dual Pixel rear camera that is flanked by fingerprint sensor and flash + heart rate sensor. The front of the device houses 8MP Selfie camera, Iris Scanner. Interestingly, the bottom of the device has USB-C Port, loudspeaker, and 3.5mm headphone jack. Yes, Samsung fans will be having wired headphone fun, which Apple fanboys cannot get this functionality anymore with newer iPhones.
On the right side of the S8, you can see volume rocker and home button, but as a little surprise, there is a dedicated button, which might be for Samsung’s new virtual assistant Bixby.
The article may not surprise you, especially if you are following tech news on a daily basis because a lot of rumors claimed the same thing. However, this particular leak proves all those specifications with hands-on images.
Samsung is expected to announce the Galaxy S8 and S8+ on March 29th.
