Microsoft has added a brand new feature called Dynamic Lock in latest 15002 insider preview build. The latest feature will allow Windows OS to lock your PC when you go away. By doing this, Microsoft is providing increased security. The Dynamic Lock will come handy for enterprise users as they deal with more confidential information on a daily basis.
We aren’t sure how Windows OS can determine your presence. We suspect that Microsoft is utilizing Windows Hello camera to do this. It’s possible to track the presence of human being using Windows Hello camera, which can usually be used to unlock the PC without typing passwords.
If it’s true, many users might not show interest in keeping it turned on as continuous tracking will raise questions regarding privacy. Thankfully, Microsoft has given the option to turn it off, so users shouldn’t worry in this regard.
You can test out Dynamic Lock if you have installed Windows 10 preview build 15002 and have Windows Hello enabled hardware on your PC.
