Samsung is hard at working on Galaxy S8 and S8 edge. We hardly passed through a day in the last couple of months without an S8 rumor, but now, we do have alleged real world image of unannounced Galaxy S8. This is the first time we are looking at S8, which actually looks like a real deal. Check out the image.
Firstly, we should admit that it may be a real deal or well-photoshopped image, after all, so take this with a pinch of salt. Talking about details, the leaked image get every checkbox ticked, which we heard from rumors. There is no iconic Samsung’s signature style home button at front. We are yet to know how the navigation can be achieved. The top and bottom bezels are tiny and no bezels at left and right. The power key on the right side seems to be located lower than usual spot. If we are not wrong, this is the Galaxy S8 with Gold paint job. The Chinese language on the screen also fits perfectly as we heard last week that Samsung is currently testing both Chinese and International variants of Galaxy S8 in China. We will let the time decide about the authenticity of this image.
On the other hand, a new report from Korea reveals that Samsung will skip the MWC 2017 and go with a dedicated event scheduled on April 18th. If you don’t know, it’s full month late than S7 launch date last year (March 11th). The push back might be due to final design changes or simply lack of time after dealing with Note7 fiasco. Samsung may not need to worry about missing the market due to this delayed announcement since it was proven that South Korean smartphone maker already has a strong fan base, who didn’t even care about Note7 battery issues even after Samsung recalled the device.
What do you guys think about this leaked Galaxy S8 image?
