Sony is preparing new goodies for forthcoming MWC 2015 to surprise us, but we hate surprises so we are telling the truth for you guys. The upcoming Sony devices are Xperia Z4 Tablet and Xperia M4 Aqua. Both devices will become official in MWC. The Xperia Z4 Tablet is the flagship tablet boasting one of the best hardware available in market. Meanwhile, the M4 Aqua is going to replace last year’s M2 Aqua (which brought IP68 certification). Find the full details below.
Lets start with Xperia Z4 Tablet, this will be carrying the flagship tablet title for Sony in 2015. The new tablet would be extremely thinner yet to be powerful. The device will feature 2K display at front. Under the hood, it would be powered by Qualcomm’s most advanced Snapdragon silicon but yet to confirm the exact chipset. We believe that Sony would opt for rather high-end Snapdragon 810 64-bit chip for staggering performances. There will be 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage with the options to choose microSD slot for further expansion. The tablet will run on Android 5.0 Lollipop with Sony custom UI on top. The image represents the re-designed Sony UI, you can observe that the recent apps are located beside the navigation buttons and sporting Chrome OS style. The white bar below the icons are to recognize, which app is currently running in background.
Talking about Xperia M4 Aqua, we surprised after hearing the name of the device because we haven’t seen the M3 Aqua in real world. We don’t know why Sony has decided to skip the number but we will definitely explore it in coming days. The M4 Aqua’s design language reminds us Sony’s 2 year old flagship Xperia Z2. This upcoming device obviously will retain the IP certification for dust and water resistance but Sony might extend it to whole new level. These two devices will become official in MWC 2015. At this time, more details are mystery so stay tuned to us, we will unfold it soon.
